getcontent Activity in Report Defination
getcontent Activity is customizable in List View and Summary View but how can we customize it in Report Defination..is there any provision to customize getcontent Activity in Report Defination?

There is no equivalent in report definitions to customizing the getContent activity for list/summary views.
Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, there are some options you can try, for instance:
1) Creating a custom function alias to implement specific fragments of SQL code.
2) Creating a view in the database (which can then be accessed as if it were a table) for more complicated queries.

getContent activity does not get called for the population of Report Definition. There is another activity which does the job for RD. pxRetrieveReportData.

pxRetrieveReportData is the Final Activity..so we cannot update it. In Version 6 we use to have list views/Summary Views where the option of GetContent Activity is given where we can Write any Activity which can customize the SQL query for the Report.
