Geofencing in Pega Marketing

Hi All,

We have a requirement where we need to showcase Geofencing feature in our Strategy. The Use Case is such that we need to show best offers based on customer's location. Can anyone point me to a detailed doc or any article on PDN which showcase Geofencing feature in detail.

On a High Level, we would be creating a Data Flow that will be triggered on RealTime Events. The Data Flow will be populating the Proposition Data that will be referred in the Strategy. In the Strategy we would be using Geofencing feature to filter out the proposition based on location.

Is my understanding correct? Any better suggestions??

Please take a look at the Chapter 17 which describes about the Geofences capability in Pega Marketing and how to configure and use it. Chapter 18 also has a section which talks about using Geofences in Real Time Events. I have provided below the link to the Pega Marketing 7.4 User guide but it is applicable to our previous releases as well.
