Generate fixed length flat file
Hello,
I have a requirement to generate a fixed length flat file. I guess I should use Connect file & Map sturctured rules to achieve this. I am looking for some examples on how to implement this? Can some which help me with some examples> Thanks in advance.

@John Joseph I checked our Connect-File Method documentation and notice that the section 'Example' points to a 'community article' which does not exist (How to write a file to the local file system using a file connector.)
I have used the Feedback button to report this documentation bug.
I will leave other Pega 8.5 users to help you further. A search for Connect-File method on YouTube also brought up some examples.
There is further explanation in About Connect File Rules.
Note:
Connect File rules are no longer being actively developed and will be deprecated in Pega Platform 8.7. After an upgrade to Pega Platform 8.7 and later, you cannot create new Connect File rules. However, existing Connect File rules will continue to function. Instead, for on-premises systems, use the D_pxNewFile landing page with the defaultstore repository. For Pega Cloud systems, use the D_pxNewFile landing page with the pegacloudfilestorage repository. For more information, see Repository APIs.

@MarijeSchillern Thanks for your reply. I got few examples in You tube for connect file but not able to find anything on the Map Structure rule. If any one can help me on that it will be great.
