Field value with parentheses in the localized label shows wrong symbols

We have a screen for file upload which has button with label "Select files". It should be displayed as "Select file(s)" and there is OOTB field value for that. However in version 8.7.1 it displays "Select file #40&#59,,," instead (please check a screenshot).

Without parenthesis it displays normally, though. Not sure if there are some known issues with field values in Pega 8.7.1?

Could you please help me with that?

This happens because of the double encoding since these controls already do a crossScriptfilter. In my scenario we are using crossScriptingFilter but pega is already doing it in latest versions. So I removed that function and it worked.
