Federated Case Management (FCM) in Pega 8.3 - What are the rulesets?
I would like to find out what the latest version of FCM is. When I went into Digital Delivery, I can only find the versions for 7.1 and 6.3.1. I am looking into implementing this in 8.3. Are the rulesets included in the base 8.3 installation? If so, what are the names?

To confirm what you found on Digital Software Delivery, I see on the Pega Community product page for FCM that FCM 7.1 is the latest release.

Mary, can you confirm that FCM 7.1 is what we should be installing into Pega 8.3 if FCM capabilities are required?

You need to wait for a product SME to answer all of your questions. I am not a product SME.
(My uneducated guess would be that an FCM 8 release might need to run on the Pega 8 platform -- considering sync on homogenous releases. But perhaps uniform matching of releases is not needed? I don't know.)

- Is the gateway support and required for Pega 8.x to use FCM?

FCMR requires separate Pega-FCM ruleset still requires gateway support.

Can we clarify this gateway requirement a bit further?
I saw the following regarding gateway is not longer required for Pega Web Mashup:
I thought FCM makes use of Pega Web Mashup. With that, is the requirement for gateway an FCM specific?

In Ravi's previous post, a Gateway is still required. However, in the 8.3 Installation Media, the prgateway.war file is not included. We have also tried to download the Mashup 7.1 media, the prgateway.war is also not there.
Where can we get the prgateway.war file?

A quick update for those who may not have access to the SR case.
"You will be fine with the combination you are planning on using, PRGateway from 7.1.7 and FCM 7.1.2 on Pega Platform 8.3. I did check and there is a project in place to update FCM to use new Mashup implementation so PRGateway wont be needed in the future. This is being looked at as part of 8.5 but I can’t give you an exact release version yet. I checked patches for FCM 7.1.2 and the one you mentioned was the only one for that product version."

also, if we upgrade to FCM 8.X , Can we continue to connect from applications built on PRPC V6.X and V 7.X versions?
