Extracting Work Object Attachments
There's a requirement for our organization in which we need to extract attachments for each work object that we have. This is currently not part of our application and unfortunately we are running a fairly old version, PEGA 6.1 SP2. Is there some way to do so in an efficient way, say, in batches depending on year or at least have a way to query the attachment?
The attachment that I'm working with is highlighted in red in the attached image.

Hello,
I don't think you will have an Out-Of-The-Box mechanism to do this on this version. You may have to create your own activity for doing it.

Ok thank you! Unfortunately I am fairly new to PEGA and this version is quite old, so I have been unable to find supporting documentation that could help me achieve this extraction of files or where to even locate the appropriate location of where these files would be stored.

Data-WorkAttach-File class contain your attachment information.
If you using direct pega DB to save attachment data,attachment data available in pyAttachStream in Base64Encode format. U have to to pull this Decode the data.
If you using Repository, file location will be available in pyContentLocation. You have to call connect file for it.

If your requirement is just to fetch the attachment from another work object, then you can make use of D_AttachmentList data page to fetch the attachment of that particular work object by passing its pzInskey and display them in grid.
