External Links and their behavior
Hello,
When launching an external link from the left hand navigator it opens it in a new browser "tab" when launching an external link from the parent screen (repeating dynamic layout in body) it opens in a new browser "window" - how can I make the behavior the same for both. We prefer opening in new browser tab. thanks

We might need to have a custom script to open the link in the new tab.

Thanks for your response. These are only external links. Basicially whether you launch an external application from the left nav or from within a repeating dynamic layout the behaviors are different. I'm thinking some simple html code will do the trick. Does pega allow you to implement html easy enough without custom modifications?

Yes, In a section rule you can uncheck Auto-generated HTML and use the HTML code there. Please find the below screenshot for more details.
