Export to excel from UI without using report browser

Hi All,

Please help me to export to excel,my requirement is to export report data in excel on click of UI button or link in a section.

Hello 

Try in section level create a button as export to excel inside action tab put as event as click & open url in new window Pass OOTB MSOPARSEEXCEL activity .

MSOParseExcelFile activity is called when user clicks "Import" to import an excel file. Also called from "Attach Project Sizing to Application" of Sizing Wizard.

So you can implement the call the activity MSOGenerateExcelFile on a button click in a section .
