Export to Excel - Date and Time component of a DateTime property to be shown in 2 separate columns
Issue Description:
We have a requirement to show Date and Time seperately in 2 columns for a DateTime property.
In Section we are using repeating grid layout and using DateTime format accordingly to show Date and Time component of DateTime property seperately in 2 columns.
We need to export this data to Excel. We are using OOTB activity pzRDExportWrapper to export the data using Report Definition. If we are using DateTime property in RD it will show date and time both in excel.
Help Needed:
We need help in figuring out how we can display Date and Time component of a DateTime property under 2 separate columns in Excel.

Hi
You can have two separate column in excel only when the data comes from two separate columns from database.
So if your intention is to show date and time in separately then even before going to excel, first store them in two separate columns and then perform the export.

Hi Bharath,
We can set the column format for the particular column as shown below for displaying date alone in the report definition itself.
By exporting this report definition to excel, only date value is seen in excel.

Hi Bharath,
Yes, this feature is available in Pega 7.1.7.
You can also go with using functionalias like 'pxDay' for the particular column to achieve the same.

Hi Sreepriya,
Date portion of DateTime property is shown without any issues. However Time portion is not displayed properly. It is not taking the custom format entered. Please assist.
