Error Opening IE browsers for interrogation
I have installed following versions of softwares
windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Openspan Version 7.1.31 - 32 bit
Visual studio 2010 Professional 32 bit
Internet Explorer 11 64 bit
I have tried interogating IE 11 browser by setting browser bitness to only 32bit as well as Default setting
but I end up having iexplorer.exe fail to start within timeframe

Hi Karthik,
- Have you tried interrogating a simple web page (e.g. google.com)?
- Are you facing the same error while interrogating a windows application?
- Also, try to disable the antivirus on your machine, if any as it might be blocking the interrogation.

issue is not with the interrogation issue is internet explorer cannot be opened at all.
it works with all other adapters so antivirus is not an issue.
issue is Openspan is 32 bit and by default it is trying to open 64 bit IE. So I want to know whether any one faced same issue with the bit

You need to move to a version that is not obsolete. Any version of 7.1 that is less than 7.1.59 should not be used. If you were to open a SR they would tell you that you need to move to the latest version. There was a Microsoft patch that required an upgrade to at least 7.1.59 or higher more than a year ago.

Thanks for your reply it was one of my option.. But can you please clarify this alone.. with below configuration
Windows 7 64 bit
visual studio 2010 pro 32 bit
Openspan 7.1.59 32 bit (as per your suggestion upgrading to latest version)
Internet explorer 11 64 bit
will this configuration work or do I have to upgrade Visual studio 2010 also to 64 bit to make it work
