I don't really understand what your issues are, however they do seem like environmental ones. I would suggest that you open a support request and have one of our support team members look at your issue. If you do, please report the SR number here.
If Chrome is not working, it generally means that the Extension has not been enabled. If there is a control you cannot get to using Internet Explorer, then you might want to look for it on the Web Controls tab in the adapter and you may find it there. You could then add it to your adapter and work with it from there.
