Enable/Disable expand icon in table grid conditionally
Hello All
I am sourcing a table grid from Report definition. Following are the configuration in Operation tab
In operation tab I have selected master details and populated ExpandGridRowDetails as the template name. Checked Display details read-only, Display an expand/collapse icon per row.
Based on one of the field value in report definition i need to enable/disable the expand icon for each row? Can any one help me on how to achieve this?

@John Joseph based on the logic you can set . pyExpanded value on each page in the pagelist. If it's true that row will be expanded, else it will be collapsed.

In our application, section is called in the harness, in the section we have the table grid which is sourced from RD. I understand i need to set the pyExpanded for each page before loading it to the grid but not sure which action / option i need to use so that i can call a DT or activity to set this property. Any help is greatly appreciated.

@John Joseph you can keep your grid inside a dynamic layout. You can use defer load in dynamic layout and run an activity from there. This will run before load of the grid. In this activity you can set the pyExpanded flag to all the pages.

@Anoop Krishna Thanks again. I tried your suggestion, but the RD execution is happening after the defer load activity execution (Dynamic layout). So unable to set this flag. Do we have any other options? Thanks for your help.

@John Joseph right, in the defer load activity what you need to do is, get results from RD, apply the logic and set the flag and copy it to another pagelist.
You need to refer this pagelist as the source to the table.

try to source the table with a Data page which loaded from the RD. on the response DT of the data page set your desired read-only condition for the indexes you need.
