We are having deadlock situation happening in Prod where we are getting DB fluctuation, pega email listener is not able to write the opened email to DB.
Technically its stability issue in region still the objective is to make it as unread when the DB fluctuation is detected.
I have few work around to do email exception handling at service level and the desired expectation is once it received in email box, listener opens the email and if any DB exception is returned then the email should be considered for retry when the DB is available.
Note: during the exception I don’t have options to save somewhere making its as unread is good option to make it available for retry.
Please share your valuable thoughts and let me know if any other info need for issue
