Email notification
Email notification in case management, my requirement is a mail has been sent to the user and now the mail has to sent to the manager after certain days also without any action on the work object.

I think you can configure an SLA to achieve this with goal and deadline. Once the assignement is passed deadline notify the reporting manger which will send an email notification to the manager

Hello,
please do configure an SLA with goal time deadline time, based on the last Email triggered date and time if any or Last updated date time.
In the scenario mentioned above the mail has been triggered to user to take action , but user has not worked on it even after the mail is triggered , so the system has to notify his manager upon this.
if my understanding is correct SLA should work

Hi Sam,
Thanks for posting the query.
If you don't want to go with the SLA, then you can configure the Standard Agent with the associated activity which checks for the definite time period for triggering the email and in the case-type you can add the utility shape and call the activity Queue For Agent which queues the current work-object for the standard agent.

Thanks for the reply, can we use te wait shape and set the timer for email notification?
could you please let me know the sample steps for the activity.
