Edit Validate rule length change

Hello All, 

  Please can you help me to modify the allowable number of characters length on Edit Validate rule. I believe PEGA by default sets the count to 35 but we need somewhere around 45. I dont want to use the paragraph with conditions to display if this option is feasible to implement. Need urgent help. 

Scenario: I need to validate a property value on Flow Action so i shall make a call to validate rule which validate and set messages on page. Currently the message is being shown in two lines but i want the same to be displayed in one line.

Can you clarify your requirement here ? Do you want the length of your text input to be restricted to max 45 characters ? (Or) you want the length to be precisely 45 chars everytime ?

 

is this a for a text field ?
