What are good dropdown controls for a row repeat or grid layout?

Hi,
You can use dropdowns for both row repeats or grid layouts.
Grids are the best practice for displaying tabular data in general. We should not use Row Repeat going forward, and convert any Row Repeat to Grids as much as we can.

Not sure if I got your question correctly, but if there is a value that you need to select from multiple options, for each row in a repeat grid, you can go with the dropdown control inside a cell in the repeat grid. Also you can use the autocomplete.
Source of a dropdown can be property, report definition, and a datapage(of which using source as datapage is preferred, cost wise)
