Does PRPC engine do commit after each utility shape during flow execution
Let us say a flow consists of multiple utility shapes in sequence.
Does PRPC engine does commit after each utility shape during flow execution?
Does it make a difference if the flow is executed by a browser requestor (H-) or an agent (B-)?

The answer is most definitely no. Pega7 commits at the end of every transaction. How would you be able to tell that the 'changes to work page seems to be persisted after each utility shape'? Could you explain your methodology further?

I think the answers are no but I see an agent executes a flow and the changes to work page seems to be persisted after each utility shape. Very strange. Thus asking.

Agent commits the changes after its execution, maybe that's what made you believe it is being committed after every utility shape!

Even agent does not do commit after each utility shape in the middle of flow execution, I believe.

No, it will commit only after the end of the transaction, not for individual transactions.
A detailed explanation can be found in the attached PDF from Pega regarding Data Integrity. Please refer to the Page #15 section titled "When commits occur programmatically".
