Does Pega (v7.4) perform checksum validation against the uploaded file ?

We are using AWS S3 as application storage (case attachment storage area).

Does Pega (v7.4) perform checksum validation against the uploaded file to make sure it is uploaded without losing data?
The following online help materials did not address the above concerns or questions.
