Does AES monitors the status of a listener; if it becomes disabled would it send you an email alert like it does now with the agent?

I am trying to find out if AES monitors the status of a listener; if it becomes disabled would it send you an email alert like it does now with the agent. And if not is there a way to do it.

I know historically this was not a feature, but I cannot be certain if the product was eventually enhanced to cover this use case.
I want to say no, this is still not supported, but I can double check with more people who use it a lot.
What version of AES are you on?
AES does not monitor listeners. Has been on the 'ask' list for 3+ years.
AES does have rules to query listener status and start listeners; would not be hard to extend AES to either periodically poll each node for listeners running and compare to a data table of 'expected listeners', or have node itself periodically SOAP a listener list to AES for evaluation.

I would like your idea; from an admin point I am a bit rusty on my Pega development skills but I would try it on my end. Would not mind any specific pointers from Pega.
