To store and display a mortgage loan amount for an loan applicant which field type is ideal - Decimal Vs Integer

If loan amount is greater than 2147483647, use double or decimal type otherwise use Integer.

Decimal Fixed decimal number, positive or negative, stored internally as a BigDecimal Java object.
Integer Integer, may be zero, positive or negative.
