DB2 to SQL Server
Hello, We are exploring an option of migrating our current Pega platform database from DB2 10.5(on AIX) to SQL Server 2016. Does pega offer any migration plan or utility for this kind DBMS switch? Has anyone done this in recent past, and what is your experience? Also, any opinion on system performance? Is SQL Server better or worse?

This has been asked before, the sense is that there are many options, pending on your situration:
1. Use native tools to convert/migrate all tables from DB2 z/OS to SQL Server, check with SQL Server team and there are some 3rd party vendors as well. As long as the tools are solid, this approach is probably the easiest and does not involve any pega features.
2. Install fresh copy of Pega on oracle and export RAPs from your old environment to the new one... this is going to be quite manual as you really have to know what to export. You probably still have to figure out how to migrate large data tables. BIX from Pega may have some use cases here.
