Pega 7.2 compatibility with SQL Server 2016
We are planning to upgrade our Database servers to SQL Server 2016 and our current Pega version is 7.2. As per the Pega Platform Support Guide (https://community.pega.com/system/files/media/pdf/2018-06/74_PlatformSupportGuide_June2018.pdf) there is no support for Pega 7.2 with SQL Server 2016. However, as per the comments we understand that the particular component called ADM might have issues with this new version of SQL server.
In our application we are not using ADM. We are also going to upgrade the Pega version to 7.4 which is totally compatible with SQL Server 2016 but this can only happen after the database upgrade.
So, Can we assume it is safe to upgrade our database server to SQL server 2016?

Hi, looking at the support document what I see is that 7.2.2 is only supported in SQL Server 2014 and the comments around ADM are related to 2014/7.2.2 (although they don't apply to you). SQL Server 2016 is not fully certified and tested on 7.2.2.

We are also looking at upgarding the DB to SQL Server 2016. Our app is on Pega v7.2.2. We are not using any Pega frameworks.
As per the above trail, Pega v7.2.2 is not certified for SQL Server 2016.
What if we enable 'run in 2014 compatibility mode' on the SQL Server 2016?
