DB connections not terminating after use
We have DB connection to an external Postgres DB configured within Pega App using JDBC URL. The connections are bein made to external system and they are not being terminated automatically and sitting in IDLE state for long until we manually clear the connections from DB side.
Is there any configuration that can be done on Pega side to terminate the connections if not being used.

@Kishore Sanagapalli Yeah we're connecting to external DB from Pega using JDBC URL. See the example we're using
JDBC URL format:
jdbc:postgresql://{host}:{port}/{DB_Name}
We have configured stored procedures(built by external systems) which will give new records to the Pega application. We have configured Job scheduler to run once every minute to connect to the external DB to get new records from external system and queue the records to queue processor to execute Case creation. So, once the connection has been made to the external system and even the queue processor is not running, the connections are sitting idle and not being terminated from our system to the external system.

We're also using PostgreSQL DB for our Cloud enviornment in Pega. Could be more specific on your query like when did you face the error? Did you try to configure the external DB from Pega? Please share the JDBC URL that has been used till date.
