How to set up a JDBC connection pool for the external database on Pega Docker
I wanted to set up an Database Connection using Application Server Connection Pooling. In a traditional VM's [WebSphere or Tomcat] I'm aware of the steps.
However, I'm looking for Connection Pool properties for Pega Provided Docker Image. Where to make the change ?

You configure this external DB connection from the Pega Platform software, not in the docker image itself. In the near future, Pega Platform will support hikari connection pool parameters, but that is still being worked on currently. It will be ready when Pega Infinity 8.6 is GA.

As Aciut mentioned database connections can be configured from the platform itself.
If you are explicitly trying to configure this at the server level, I guess you might be referring to adding it in context.xml (tomcat).
If that is the case I guess this cannot be achieved using Pega-provided docker images. However, for achieving this using docker especially, you would have to build your own customized image by altering Pegasystems/web-ready image.
Isn't good practice but still a workaround in such usecases. Let me know if that is what you are looking for.
