Loosing the DB Connection - JDBC pool exhaustion

Hi... We are on Pega 8.5.3, Tomcat9 and oracle 19c we have been upgraded oracle 12 to 19c and ugraded ojdbc7.jar to ojdbc8.jar files BUt we are constantly seeing JDBC pool exhaustion errors and only restarting the instance is actually fixing the issue. Is there any way to resolve it
