Connecting to a VT Terminal session
I'm using reflection workspace and I'm trying to connect using the generic winhllapi text adapter but am having issues with finding the session ID. Session file file for the VT session (abc.rdox), does not contain an attribute for the “short name” which is also the session ID.
Since the session ID is not given for the VT terminal, I am not sure how to interrogate this since the text adaptor needs the session ID.
Note - Its using SSH to connect.

@Sulakkya Is your process using HLLAPI? You might use Process Explorer to check to see if any HLLAPI dlls are loaded into the process once you've launched it. If not, then you are likely not able to connect to it through the text adapter.

@ThomasSasnettVT-terminal process did not list any HLLAPIs. Then I used 'Process Explorer' tool on an old 3270 terminal, it did not list any HLLAPIs and yet it has a session id and it gets connected with a text adaptor without issues.

@Sulakkya In that case, what was the DLL you were connecting to (DLLName property of the adapter)? Is that DLL present in the list of DLLs? Can you post the version and name of your emulator?

The emulator software that I'm using is Micro focus - reflection desktop Proprietary information hidden.
All the dlls that I tried with are inside reflection desktop's installation folder.
- One that works - 3270 terminal with Winhllapi.dll
- Having issues - on VT terminal I tried winhllapi.dll, ehllapi.dll and hllapi.dll
However, hllapi dlls are not listed on project references list and when I tried to add them, it throws 'invalid project reference file'
(This might not be the case but I felt like its having issues as the VT-terminal connection is using SSH)
