Date Box on Windows Formp
Please can anyone help with how I can create a date box like the one below in OpenSpan Studio? I need the date box to appear with no date prepoulated in it but I cannot seem to find an option to do this using the DateTimePicker from the toolbox. A date must only appear by a) picking a date from the calendar or b) typing a date direct in the box.

Hi Dave,
There is not a direct way of putting an empty value in the DateTimePicker Component. You can change the CustomFormat property to "[space]" to show nothing. Then you can use the ValueChanged event to restore the CustomFormat when the user chooses a date.
This solution does not allow the user to type directly into the Component until the CustomFormat is correctly set. Try playing around with it and let me know. There could be a scenario that you can design to get it to work for you.
