DataPage in Split for each shape
Can I specify a data Page in Split for each Flow shape, I faced Compile time error.
I tried to reference a Data Page of List type in a Split for each shape, it's throwing an error.
I assume below is the reason, but could you please confirm from Pega Product side, does my understanding is correct or not?
At run time, this shape processes the work item's embedded Page List or Page Group properties; the embedded pages must exist before the Split For Each shape is reached
A detailed explanation is helpful and appreciated.

I have worked with split for each in 7.1.9, hope this is not changed in later versions.
Split for each expects a pagelist / page group as you mentioned.
You can use the D page of type list for this. Can you attach the SS how you referred the property ? and the error you getting.

I have attached the screenshots, I am describing the usage here.
In "-Work-CaseType" class, I specified Split-for-each shape, there I have mentioned a Datapage of Class "Data-Admin-Operator-ID" class and Type List.
in the properties of Split for Each i have given below details.
Page Property: D_OperatorOrgDivPosition.pxResults
Class: Data-Admin-Operator-ID and Code-Pega-List; tried both of them.
Flow Name : Classic (Which is abase class flow)
Error Is : Specified Property is not a valid reference.
May I know whats the wrong there ?

I See the class of the D page is Data-Admin-Operator-ID, so pxResults will be of "Data-Admin-Operator-ID" class.
In 3.PNG - 1. Can you update the class with Data-Admin-Operator-ID , if it does not work try the 2 option.
2. Mention only D_operator** page as reference. if this does not work i will try this from my end and will let you know the outcome.
