Data page sourcing from RD
all - we have a data page and souricng it using report definition.
The report definition is paginated and hence no record limit. when i run RD seperately I can see more than 500 resultrs. but when the Data page is run to trigger RD, it has only 500 records.
Is the constraint by design to display only 500 rows using Data page ? I dont see any way to amend the data page behavoir.
on clipboard, for the Data page I only see 500 results returned.

Does the "DB Query" event in the tracer that executes the database query show different SQL when run as the Data Page vs when run direct from the Report Definition?

Hi,
Go to Records>SysAdmin >Application Settings search for pymaxrecords settings ,save it in to your ruleset and change the count according to your environment.
Log Off and login (as these settings are store at requestor level) you can see more than 500 records when you run the DataPage.

Hi,
There is no explicit way to set the max records a data page can retrieve. It is embedded within Report Definition.
In Report Definition, if we don't enable pagination under Report Viewer tab, we will be able to set the Max Records to retrieve under Data Access tab. The same value will be used by Data Page.
But if we enable pagination, Max Records to retrieve field will be disabled/ignored for Report Definition. But the last updated Max Records value before enabling the pagination will be used by Data Page. If the last updated value is empty, then by default, using the System Settings (pyMaxRecords), Pega will assign the value as 500.
