CTI_ Call web service before CTI pop up
we have cti Avaya requirement , we need to call the web service before displaying the screen pop up. based upon web service response need to display data on POP up. Please suggest me if any one already worked on this requirement. also post the related rules . Thanks,

Hi Srinivas,
Below is a way you can try to configure the requirement.
1. Try to identify the Service-Java rule executed when the Offering event is generated for Avaya in CTI Logs.
For example for jtapi, the service-java rule called is 'ConnectionAlerting’. This would be called before generating the Pop-up to UI. And it inkoves an activity 'CallCtlConnAlertingEv’.
2. Then you can try to add your web service call from the activity and the pop-up would be displayed using the below JS.
screenpoptemp.forwardEvent() – calls sendEvent(event.pyApplication + event.pyTopic, serialize (customEvent)) – builds PegaCallScreenPopRequest event and sends it.
PegaCallScreenPopRequest event - ScreenPopEventHandler() – Cases POPUP/AUTO/BOTH
showPopUp() – decides whether to show the pop up as toaster or normal method
loadToasterPop() in ToasterPop section (non-auto generated) – makes a call to ‘ShowInteraction’ (PegaCA-CTI-Call) activity with parameter ‘pyPurpose=offering’.
ShowInteraction activity – calls stream ShowInToaster and in turn calls ‘pyPurpose’ (offering) section.
3. Try to handle the response in these JS and display them in pop-up.
