Create Report in PDF format and Send Email with the PDF is Failing if processed sequentially.
I have a requirement to generate a report in pdf format and send it to a email id. We had used the wait shape between the create pdf and send email activities, otherwise the report in pdf format was not generating at the time of sending. So we were getting email with no pdf attached. With the use of wait shape (gave 2 mints) It was working fine before. Now we are facing some issue with the wait shape as the mail itself was not sending. So we tried to implement this with the SLA logic. As the SLA is configured inside an assignment , we got to introduce a temporary screen in between. Can you please suggest me
1. another way to make the system wait for 2 mints before send email call?
2. If no, is there a way to remove the temporary screen and to automatically move to next screen

Depends on the number of data your report is fetching, the process time might vary. So even if you have a wait shape, it might fail.
One alternative could be combining both operation as part of a single activity. I mean, write an activity where on step one you generate the pdf and then step two send the email.
Other ( and probably the best alternative ) is schedule the report to send out PDF as attachments to specific users.
