Compatibility of Red Hat Lynx 5.10 version with Pega 7.2.2?
We're planning to upgrade PRPC 6.2 SP2 of current application which is running on Operating System Red Hat Linux 5.10 to Pega 7.2.2. While referring the Pega7.2.2 Platform Support Guide, it was mentioned that Red Hat Enterprise Linux V6 is supported.
Please confirm if go with existing Operating System Red Hat Lynx 5.10 version, whether it is compatible with Pega 7.2.2?

Yes it is necessary to move to supported version. You may make the application version works on RHEL 5.10 but if you hit any issues Pega will not support.
There is no specific minor version requires for RHEL 6 any minor version should work and supported.

Is it absolutely necessary that Red Hat Enterprise Linux v6 version for upgrading the application to 7.2.2. version? What kind of issues that we might foresee if RHEL 5.10 version stays? The purpose why I am requesting this is to provide necessary justification to update the OS version across the environments.
Also is there any specific minor version within RHEL 6.x that requires compatibility with PRPC 7.2.2? For ex: Is RHEL 6.7 or 6.8 is compatible with PRPC 7.2.2?
