this functionality does not worked in the pega v7.1.8 is there any alternative for this issue?

Hi Kothi,
You should not require any customization for this issue after 7.1.7 as this was fixed in 7.1.7 release.
Are you experiencing the same issue in 7.1.8 ?
Can you check if buttons section is overriden in your application.

I cannot seem to find the Pega 7.1.7 Release Note, Issues Addressed in This Release, for this bug fix

My browsing of this relnote section and my search on keywords and on related case work found no relnote for this bug fix:
ISSUE: 149121 >> Release Notes section Issues Addressed in This Release indicates BUGs as ISSUEs.
Perhaps this issue was not selected for documentation in the bug fix list (Issues Addressed in This Release). ??
If you can find the fix relnote for Pega 7.1.7 or another release, please share it?

Hi Pankaj,
Button section was not overridden in my application. And Issue was also there in the ML8 (V7.1.8).
It was from Work- class, section name was pyDirtyCheckConfirm.
In this section we had save button, if click on the save button, i'm getting an popup error message. If i click on ok of the that popup, machine getting hanged.
I think the issue due to Close After Save check box was there in the Save Action in the save button.
I was tried by remove "Close After Save" check box from save action and adding, close action to the save button. its functioning the save option but case was not closed immediately after click on the save button.

Now I am confused, issue you described here is completely different from "Cancel" button issue mentioned in the starting.
Am i missing something here ?

Hi Pankaj,
There no overridden section which is relating to this issue in my application, it from Work- class.
If i click on close button, to close the case it asking for the save changes. If i click on save button i'm getting an error message like enter mandatory fields. If i click on the ok button of that popup then machine got hanged.
This is the issue.

I was find the issue with "Close After Save" check box was there in the save action of save button in that section.
I was tried by removing "Close After Save" check box in the save action of the save button and adding another action to close immediately.
Save function working fine but case was not closed immediately, click on save button.
