The checkbox Borders are missing in Firefox

The checkbox borders are showing incompletely in the Firefox browser.this is happening only in this browser working fine in chrome and IE.

 issue is with our custom application code of  skin is having the style  -moz-appearance:none for the checkbox control.

once we had changed the -moz-appearance:checkbox !important; the issue is resolved.
