Check that the REQUIRED fields are not empty by clicking on a button
Hello,
I would like you to help me with this case "attached below"
The user must select one Option of "MYCHOICE" DropDown.
Depending on his choice, a list of options in the second layout appears.
Question:
I want that when I click on the button to submit the form, it checks that required properties are not empty.
Can you help me with this?
I dont want to use "Finish Assignment"

ok, then you could add on click event next actions:
1. Run activity. Here you'll trigger Obj-Validate method to validate all fields you need.
2. Refresh. Refreshing will show up field messages (if any)
3. Run local action (or other approach you've chosen). The other layout you mention..

First thing, if you have marked the properties as Mandatory, then you will get an error on submit by default. No need for additional validations.
If there is any other validation to be done, use the Validation rule in the flow action.

I mark them as Required, but when i click on the button, there is no check whether they are empty or not.
Should I add a special action to the button, to submit?

What's the difference do you make b\w "submit the form" and "Finish Assignment"?
What do you want to do after click on the button?

Hello Vaspoz,
Normally, when i will click on the button, it must check that everything is not empty, then an other Layout will appear in the same page.
However, with "Finish Assignement" it allows to check then go to an other page.
My need is to stay in the same page after the check.
