Case freeze after getting a validation error
We have a property(National ID) which validates the value using Edit-Validate rule. On the processing of the case, entering the incorrect value for the respect field then submitting the case triggers the validation, but freeze the case as well. System does not allow to do anything other than logging out from the system. Any idea how to bypass or fix the issue?

Seems to be an issue with the Edit-Validate rule we used in that property. Removed it and replaced with an Obj-Validate worked in this case.

We are also facing the same issues, Case freeze after getting a validation error, the only difference from above is: we are using Obj-Validate and not edit-validate rule. There is nothing is the logs or tracer. we are using Pega version 7.1.8. I tried looking at the below article but no success as we are using OOTB buttons.

Hi There,
To me it looks like a browse specific issue. Can you pls try with a different web browser just to ensure this. If it doesn't work in IE then you think we have to contact Pega GCS to get a HFix for this.
