Case being locked without requester name or user name in the Info message
Hi All,
We have seen an weird issue in production environment, that is when an agent trying to open a case he is getting an Info message stating that "IS-12345 is currently being modified by".
Here the info message is actually not showing the requester name or user name. Generally when user-1 is trying to open a case which was locked user-2, we will get this locking information message stating some one has already has a lock on it and we will know the requester or user who has lock on it.
In in this case we were not able to see the requester or user who has a lock on it. Actually we were not able to reproduce this issue in lowers. We were thinking that this could be an issue with system or batch locking. If any one come across with this kind of issue, let us know.

Hi,
There is no entry for this one in the system-locks, as because this is happening by the either batch or an agent.
We were suspecting this is an problem with Obj-Open-by-Handle method with Release on Commit check box enabled, this is not releasing the lock.
We have used Release on Commit check for releasing the lock. We were thinking problem with "Release on Commit " option.
Is there any way we can release the lock explicitly without enable the Release on commit check bot enabled on Obj-Open-by-Handle ?
