Can't run a strategy rule in RuleSet with Data Transform in different RS saved in branch - does not exist or is not a valid entry
I am using branches with their default settings in Pega CDH 8.3.1.
When I SaveAs a Data Transform rule under my Test RS in my Branch, I cannot it when Submitting a test for my Strategy rule in a Rules locked RS.
The Test RS is not deployed to other environments, the Rules RS is.
When I press Submit for my Data Transform against the Strategy I get the error: {DT rule} does not exist or is not a valid entry for this ruleset and its prerequisites.
If I SaveAs the strategy into my branch, I can then submit the test.
I have seen many related questions with answers about setting Application Validation and Prerequesites but haven't seen an answer for Pega 8 when already using App Validation.

Hey @Allan_W_Brooks, sorry for the delay in answering.
Unfortunately this is a known issue with certain versions of Pega Infinity on which CDH runs - including 8.3.1. The attached diagram shows an example data model that should help illustrate how, in these versions, rules are visible in one direction, but not the other.
The issue is fixed in Pega Infinity patch versions 8.1.8, 8.2.5 and 8.3.2, and then from 8.4.GA onwards - so the best action for you is to apply the 8.3.2 patch.
