Can we append the pzSkinName to URL while launching a portal

In our use case, we are using different  skin for application and for Portal. Can we append the pzSkinName to the URL while launching the Portal?

Example:

Currently, for application we are using skin(ABC) and for Portal (XYZ), Is is possible to form a URL <<URL&pzSkinName=ABC>>?
