Can eForm be delegated and edited by end user?
Our client has a use case - end user is able to edit letter template.
One of our partner resources informed that this can be done using eForm and by delegating eForm thru Add Favorite. Is this a valid approach?
My understanding was that we have to use Pega 7 'Delegate' feature, which is not available on eForm rule. I'm suggesting to use correspondence rule for this requirement because 'Delegate' is available on correspondence rule. See attached.

Requirement is to allow end user (Admin type) to update letter template 'layout' - e.g. move paragraphs around.
Two options are on the table:
1. Delegate eForm rule via Add Favorite - so user can upload new PDF with new layout
2. Delegate correspondence rule via Pega7 Delegate - so user can update the layout as well as any data point (clipboard property).

#2 uses Pega7 'Delegate' which is recommended over 'Add Favorite'
However, when we convert a correspondence rule to PDF (e.g. htmltopdf activity), looks like we are having formatting issues including page break related in PDF file. Corr to PDF conversion does not look very robust in Pega.
eForm seems much more robust when it comes to generating a PDF file, but eForm does not support Pega 7 'Delegate'.
Our client decided use eForm and use 'Add Favorite' to expose eForm rule to end user who can upload new PDF template in PROD.

There are restrictions for both the rules type, it's good if you're able to reach your business requirement with having composure of both the available rules.
