Can BIX on PEGA 7.3 output format be Database if it is Cloud environment?

We have an application running on PEGA 7.3 in AWS Cloud 2.* and we would want to use BIX to write the extracted data directly to the specified destination relational database on-premise.

Is there any limitation to BIX on Cloud environment to have output format as relational database to extract data from cloud to on-premise?

Please let me know and direct me to the PDN site.

Hi Shan,

BIX on Cloud, the output format is limited only to XML or CSV files. Writing extracted data directly to a database is not supported on the cloud or to an on-prem RDBMS.

Thanks for the update. Can you explain the technical reason of why is this is not possible? 

EX: email listeners work via VPN with customer networks.
