Call an activity while downloading an attachment in Pega 7.2.2
I have a requirement to call an activity to capture additional details. The download link is populated using the control pyAttachmentFeedDescription.
For ex: the attachment name is TextFile.txt ,when I click this file ,it gets downloaded, in addition to it I want to call an activity. The link on the TextFile.txt is done using the control pyAttachmentFeedDescription. The entire section is available in Link-Attachment class. I want to call an activity of Work class.

Please suggest me how can I call this activity.

The section pyAttachmentDetails uses the same control in the upper layout.
The control allows you to add an Action Set, from which you are able to trigger an activity. Be careful about interference, that this does not steal the event completely and prevent the file download, or that the file download steals the event & prevents the activity from firing.

If the control is consuming the event so that your activity does not fire, then you might consider to make your own copy of the control and the activity that it is triggering. That way you can add your own additional processing to the activity. (When you make your copy using a different name, make sure to switch off the Final marker so that you will be able to make updates later.)
