CabInstaller during Hotfix installation?

Hi, For one of the issue we had received hotfix and dependant hotfix DL's. Along with that we have received CabInstaller_6.3SP1 to install plugins.

We are already running on 6.3SP1 with required plugins. Do we really need to install them again in all the users desktop? Can someone verify if the cabinstaller attached is latest recently from 6.3SP1?

Hi Sharath,

Is this for the CABInstaller_HF-8469_New.zip, if the same yes you need to run the CabInstaller on all the machines post installation of the hotfix. And also check the SA-23875 it may be helpful.

Hi

When you received some changes via HFIX then it is advisable to deploy or install them irrespective of you have it already in system or not.

So in your case, I recommend you to reinstall them as it can have some updated version of active x files.
