What is compatible BIX version?

What is compatible BIX version?
Every Pega platform version has its corresponding BIX version bundled under the "Additional Products" folder of the distribution image. Please use only the BIX bundled with the platform so that both are in sync.

BIX does not support extracting to DB on Pega cloud (as mentioned in the BIX user guide). On the cloud the customer would not have access to the database and we expect the access to the on-premise DB via VPN to be slow impacting the performance of BIX.

BIX does not support extracting to DB on Pega cloud (as mentioned in the BIX user guide). On the cloud the customer would not have access to the database and we expect the access to the on-premise DB via VPN to be slow impacting the performance of BIX.
That said, if there is a use case that warrants the use to DB extracts on Pega Cloud, please provide the same. This will be help us provide any available alternatives or take this feedback for future releases.

The file that you have to import is pxBIX_07.10.01 and the version that you have to mention in the Application rulesets is Pega-BIX:07-10.

Thanks Nistr. The application is currently running on-Premise environment. There is a suggestion to move to Pega Cloud. That’s why I needed more clarity on this limitation. Probably we’ll use BIX with other extract options.
