BIX file directory to another linux server
Hi,
We are having a below two requirement to write BIX output to linux server
1) first BIX extract rule write to Linux Server ABC\firstextract
2) second BIX extract rule write to Linux Server XYZ\secondextract
We have mounted ABC server to the appserver where PRPC was installed, we are yet to mount second server XYZ to server where PRPC appserver was installed
when we execute the above two BIX extract rules how/where do we need to define so that output of those BIX would be in that respective directories as mentioned in above requirements.

Hi,
You can specify the target location in the destination in File Specification tab of the bix extract rule.
You can also generate the bix extract rules and make use of BixFtplistener to upload the extracted files to any ftp location.

Hi Sandeep,
Thanks for your reply, but we cannot give absolute path in the file specification tab of the extract rule as the path contains information like ABC/firstextract/Dev for Dev env and INT for integration respectively.
Similarly for second path contains XYZ/secondextract/Dev for Dev envionment

Depending on what version of Pega is in use, if you're doing this via command line you can change the output directory using the -P option.

Hi All, we also facing the same issue while using BIX through Agent configuration,since only hard coded file path was accepting in File specification tab, how to control destination file paths for different environments( dev to prod). we are having different locations for different environments. Please help.
