Pega Bix server

Hi Team,

We are doing upgrading from PRPC version 5.5 to PRPC 7.2 . We are looking for the confirmation for the following .

Can we have 2 different versions of BIX softwares in the same stand alone server ? We have the PRPC 7.1.7 application using BIX 7.1.7 software and want to have another version of Bix 7.2 in the same server for the different PRPC 7.2 application . Kindly let us know if there are any issues of having two different versions of Bix softwares for different applications in the same server ?

We have dedicated server for BIX software.

yeah you can have as many BIX command line environments as you want as long as they have their own unique directories (temp, export etc.) and are talking respective Pega DB instances that match the version.
