Best approach to copy old V6 DB ( >11 TB) to new V7 DB env?

Hi,

We are in the upgrade of existing V6.2 application into V7.1.9 and we are using CS HC V7.1.3 framework in the new V7 env. As a part of production release, we need to come up with the best approach to copy the old Oracle 11 G DB transnational data ( > 11 TB) to new Oracle 12C DB. This is a complex contact center application and we don't want to hit on the biz because of this move. Also, we don't have any other huge application in our organization to get the inputs before we proceed further. We need Pega support on how to resolve this issue.

Created an SR-B9381 and is closed now.

Generally for Production environments 11TB of schema copy may not be feasible. Consider upgrading Oracle from 11g to 12C on production environment, so that you can eliminate the copy of the data.
