Automation of deployment in Pega?
Can we automate the deployment process in Pega as soon as Developer checks-in the code?

My requirement in details are, I want to push my Pega product zip to GIT source control management system.
And then GIT should send this build to the Jenkins. And subsequently build will be send to Maven. And Maven will push the build to Pega test environment. This is basically for automation of deployment.
Can pega integrate with GIT? I'd like to know how Pega integrate with source control systems such as GIT.
Please guide.

Two hooks to look at that may help here:
1) The project-management hook. We typically hook this one into PMF (Project Management Facility) but I think it's generalized to hook into other things.
2) The check-in/check-out approval hook.

Pega engineering internally uses similar technologies to automate deployment (Jenkins/Maven, etc). So the simple answer is yes. Unfortunately, this is not productized and as a result there is no client-facing documents that I am aware of. Here is another related post in PSC: Re: How to use GIT as source control in Pega?
