Automate deployment without deployement manager
Hi,
I have a requirement as below.
Pega deployement should be automated with jenkin and urban code deployment tools. I found pega deployement manager would accomplish same tasks as urban code. As per company standards, I should use urban code.
So I decided to go with prpc srvice utils, but they have been using unsecured authentication to connect with PEGA to get product archives. This also got denied by managers.
Is there any way, PEGA deployement can be automated without prpc service utils?
1. Can we make prpc service utils as secured authentication?
2. Can we use deployement manager piple without deployement task?
3. PEGA product ->Jenkin -> Urban code deployement. Three these should be used for my requirement.

Hi Karedla,
- I can't speak to the capabilities of prpcServiceUtils. I'll try to find someone else to chime in.
- It is required for deployment manager to package an artifact, but you could make a pipeline that just generates an artifact but does not migrate it to other environments. What features of Deployment Manager would you use.
- Not sure what is being asked here.

-- How can we modify pipeline? I could find those OOTB rules in pega. I am using pega 4.4 of deployement manager.
