Pega Robotic Automation - Deployment Version
I have a question in regards to the "Deployment Version" and the question is, is there a requirement that when you select the "Deploy Project..." option, the Version Number has to be in sequential order...? Meaning that I have already published ver. 1.25 out to OMC and then published ver. 2.0, then can I publish a ver. 1.75? Or does it have to be a number value higher than the last one in OMC, in this case 2.0 ?
I am trying to publish a version number that is in between 2 existing versions in OMC, but receiving this error:

Scott,
The Deployment Version for a package must always be greater than the highest version number currently uploaded. I suspect you are encountering this because you are moving to 8.0 and still publishing in 7.1? You should create a new project ID for your 8.0 project and update the name of the project. This will allow you to create your 8.0 project as a separate deployment in the portal. You can change the by renaming your Startup project. Changing the ID is a little more difficult as you need to edit your osproj file. I will email you directions for that.
